I was involuntarily converted in Sept. It sucks. It was after the VTO's are completed. You have no input whatsoever in what you get. It totally ignores seniority. Every guy junior to me that had a VTO got to input at least something, I got to input nothing. Its a total screw job and I can't believe this is allowed in our contract. I can't believe that scheduling has no clue they need to convert Reserve lines until after the VTO's are built. If you are going to be converted, you should be able to exercise at least some of your seniority and be able to input like normal VTO lines.
