My end goal is Atlas. Currently I'm a 7 year FO at a sinking regional with no hope of ever upgrading. With no PIC to speak of and only one type rating in an RJ, I'm not exactly at the top of the pile for an interview at Atlas. A few others from my company have made it to the interview but have ended up swimming while other applicants pass them by.
Atlas really is where I want to be, but it looks like I'll need to make an intermediate move in order to improve my qualifications. Making some QOL sacrifices in the mean time are well worth it for me.
Good reason to go to USA Jet...but if you can get on with Omni, you would probably rather use Omni as a step to Atlas than USAJet.
And, Atlas, just like DAL, does not have a pool anymore....too desperate for pilots.
