Re: schedules. PBS does interesting things when either staffing is below target, or it is a holiday month. Considering we are in NOV, this is most likely the issue. If PBS goes down the line and gets to the most JR guy in base with a ton of open time on certain days, it unstacks or as they now call it "coverage award". I don't understand exactly how it works, but all of the sudden it doesn't exactly matter what you bid. It starts dumping trips on people to get rid of the excess open time. This may be the reason for some unexpected results. Take a look at your reasons report or ask the Scheduling Cmte.
