Then somtime after your legal rest period during the 72, you would get tagged w/1 or 2 extra legs which would wash out within TAFB. I.E. more work, same pay. Now in order to gain back that efficiency the trips are more numerous, but shorter. Thus gaining back the 72 hr downtime and avoiding the Grid penalties. All this being said....if they need you to move the freight all the GPE's and overage in the world is a drop in the bucket compared to the margin on a MD full of P1.
