I agree, J.O. is just doing his job, which is to cut costs as much as possible while being able to maintain the number of pilots he needs to maintain operations...
It's no ones fault but their own if they stay somewhere that they are not happy... Yes, I understand this industry has us all by the balls because of the seniority system. Your experience means nothing, you start over at the bottom if you go somewhere else. Again, we all knew that was the case before signing up.
It's no different than a person buying a cheap house next to an airport, then complains about the airport noise.
Right now, I am getting 15 to 16 days off a month, able to bid a schedule that is commutable, can fly into and leave work the day of, I don't need much else.
One thing that I have to say about Mesa is that 95% of my fellow pilot group are a great bunch of guys to fly with. Everyone is nice... Stockholm syndrome has its benefits
