A mediator tries to facilitate an agreement between the parties. If no agreement can be reached...An offer of arbitration will take place. BOTH sides must agree to arbitration. If one side does not agree, a 30 day cooling off period will begin. At the end of that, both parties enter self help. (Or, the president can form a PEB, Presidential Emergency Board, that has 30 more days to look into it and offer non-binding solutions)

I would suggest that everyone on our seniority list needs to demonstrate to FDX that they(FDX) shouldn't want to take this to self-help. Do what our union leaders ask of us.
