NMB needs to declare an impasse. Then 30 day cooling off, then...

Enjoy your days off...that sends a message...

UPS has been in mediation since April. Heck we are probably 2 years from arbitration. Add another year to get to strike.

This is what PC is hoping to get at Xmas...

"...This step in the process is not only common, it also has no tangible effect on day-to-day operations..."

Will you help Santa deliver?

NMB = big business ally.

Almost like it was planned from the start.

Watch out for PiBS - I have a bad feeling about this four letter word and any mediation / arbitration! Never understood why we would open our playbook with PiBS still on the table.

This is exactly what I'm worried about. Am I correct in saying that the choice to reject PBS is now completely out of our hands? It's up to a third party to decide whether or not PBS is implemented?

Is PC working on his Stand Up Comedy routine? Reading that had me laughing so hard I spit up my coffee!

Special message:

"Earlier today, FedEx advised that they have petitioned the National Mediation Board for assistance in our bargaining process. In the coming weeks, we expect that the NMB will docket our case and set up initial meetings with the parties. We will provide updates as to those details as they develop.

We are obviously disappointed with management’s decision, but we are prepared to work with the NMB to achieve a fair deal in a timely fashion.

In Unity, "
