I wasn't and I doubt he is either. The flow is a nice thing to have in your back pocket just in case you're unable to get hired at a different legacy. Those jobs are incredibly competitive and it's not guaranteed that anyone will even get an interview much less the job offer.

A flow shouldn't be anyone's plan A, but to know you have something waiting for you definitely gives piece of mind.
