Hope this helps to bring this post back to something worthwhile.....I heard the same thing about PSA, and apparently Mesa is having the same problems as well.
Maybe when their mainline partners start canceling contracts due to reliability issues, the regionals will start to figure it out. Or better yet, more "regional" flying will be brought back under the mainline umbrella ala the 190s at USAir.
