Hey when you guys emailed your resume, did you submit a cover letter too? Or did you just attatch your resume? Sitting at 350/17, and building SE time.

Did you send them a response to the first email. I haven't yet but as I get farther along I'm thinking of sending a thank you for the consideration type email. Thanks for the info

I can't remember as it was several months ago but I think I sent them back saying something saying "thank you" and that I was still interested. I was hired and am online. I don't see why your times wouldn't be competitive. I've seen people here with less. If I were you, I'd build my time and go to Chautauqua. Better company, more bases, better bidding process/schedules and I think more money. Plus, you'l have a chance at the 175.

The word on the street is that hiring is going to slow dramatically during the next few months and then pick up again in the spring which is typical for the season. Everything from the bottleneck getting into the sim to holiday travel schedules will gum up the training flow. And who wants to hit the line mid December?

Thats a nice window to keep instructing, log some quality flights, stay on top of your game and prep to hit the ground running in the Spring.

Yeah I figured this might happen during this time frame. I'm always a day late and a dollar short. What times do most of the poeple in your class have? I'm still hoping for a call but I'm going to keep instructing anyway until I get a call from someone.
