PSA sends this to many applicants who are below there minimums, and then contacts them later for an interview. My buddy recieved this same e-mail, replied a "thanks for the reply" e-mail and now works there. Good luck

Wouldnt this be an ideal situation. Getting all aircraft on mainline property and having real contract negotiations would be a benefit to anyone in aviation. That's how they do it in Canada, and it worked out pretty well for them.

Where have you been for the last five years?

15 years at US Airways makes you a reserve FO, not a Captain.

12 years at US Airways makes you a flowback Captain in a CRJ or a 145.

The 190s coming on board has been a done deal for about 18 months. They are comperable to F100s Airways used to fly. The E170/175s (the ones that were sold out from under Midatlatic to RAG) are comperable to the F28s they used to fly. Don't act like it insulting to fly smaller jet equipment. Its insulting to fly jet equipment for T-prop rates.

Not my intention to sound insulting, however I do believe that someone who has been flying an Airbus as captain then being downgraded to fly the E190 that is trash, period. I don't care what's the spin is.

As for turboprop deal, you have to start somewhere. That is why they keep on bringing these types of equipments so you could get a better experience because they know that you want to move up and not stay there (regional). Now, I am not insulting anyone who wants to stay at regional for the rest for their lives; it is their decisions.
