A panel interview will consist of someone from flight operations and HR....Typical questions, "why Omni, tell us about yourself, and are you prepared to be away from home for extended periods"...Tell them you want to fly international helps...The flight operations side has more input on selection than in the past, and they look for someone who's not only good, but going to get along with current pilot group...All types get hired, but the pilots having the least trouble in training are the hard IFR turboprop pilots....Simulator training depending on fleet is tough...The B-777 side mirrors The Boeing syllabus and the B-767 side is more in house style of training...Instructors are good, but expect you to be prepared and have expectations that you don't need to be taught basic flying skills....Don't worry about lack of international experience...Omni will train you, but be prepared that it's a lot of information and additional procedures during OE...Training failures are happening, so if your weak at flying and have a job, you better think about your decision. Mediocrity does not cut it during training at Omni. Recently a former whale driver and B-777 experienced captain washed out during OE on the B-777...

You don't see a lot of Omni Pilots post on here because we're not that kind of pilot group...As long as the owners want an airline, Omni will outlast most of it's competitors do to their business model...Hope this helps...
