I do similar for my charter-management company. I work for the aircraft owner as a pilot, and as a contractor for the SMS stuff. Added about 20% of my base compensation, paid by the charter company. Job is like herding cats. Lots of time spent convincing people of the value, even when they see fines or worse flying to the EU for non-compliance. Not about the money for me, but I do feel that given the responsibility, my compensation should be closer to the DO (we are 135).
