They have apparently chosen to fight the pilots instead of following Richard Anderson's style. Bring it on, the AA pilots are no strangers to this tactic. They are going to quickly realize this is not the old USAir culture here.
The main problem with the old US culture was a fractionalized pilot group. AA doesn't have that now?

I hope things are different. We don't have a third of the pilot group willing to cut the other two thirds throats, so that's a start. But you are also not dealing with a management group that was trying to get something out of you like you were before. They've already gotten it!

I hope you're right. You told us "We've got this" so we'll be watching. Parker has never worried about if pilots were happy, maybe it will be different this time.
