“If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.” - Henry Ford

Look. This is very simple. Henry Ford has given us the answer. I'm pretty sure Henry Ford is smarter than anybody that posts on this board.

Nobody make a decision right now. We don't have all the information yet. All we have to do is wait for the PHL and CLT reps to give us an update telling us what to do. You know...the same guys who have brought US Airways nothing but disaster and have made us the laughingstock of the entire industry...Yes. Those guys. As soon as they post an update saying "we should do this..." All we have to do is do the exact opposite. History has proven that will be our best course of action.

There. Problem solved. Everybody sit back and wait! The answer will be revealed soon enough! Merry Christmas!

Marry Christmass and don't malign folks for capitulating and gutting our contract, if they aren't.

Let your BOD members know what you want them to do, and then don't blame them for doing what the majority asked them to do.

If you don't like your BOD members then run a recall attack on them, but be prepared to take the blame... (Like the s!htty MOU that was won by the recall attack).

Merry Christmas.

"Yeah. No, no, no, wait a minute, I always have tuna on toast. Nothing's ever worked out for me with tuna on toast. I want the complete opposite of on toast. CHICKEN SALAD, on RYE, UNTOASTED... and a CUP OF TEA."

Not correct. The FAs gave the same concessions because they didnt realize that they were voting NO on only a few items, not the whole contract. They lost some postitive things from the failed TA like the ability to drop down to zero hours in a month. APFA gave them the information but the membership ignored it. Some of them still dont understand what happened.
No negotiating took place between the vote and arbitration.

Default Arbitration

Do you trust the union lawyer who said Parker can't ask for anything? The company's wants have a monetary value. As long as we are given the value in other ways, I think the arbitrator will give them to the company, especially since they are industry standard. If he doesn't get them in arbitration, you can damn well bet that the merry band of corporate lawyers will figure out another way to get them. I used to think we had a chance, but seeing how LAX acted in the final hour, we don't have the unity to win this fight.

You say they gave concessions... Exactly how do you give concessions when you vote "No"? Some interesting math there...

No I don't trust any lawyer. I read the contract myself. The company cannot get any concessions they are asking us to sell to them. None... Unless we agree to settle with them for a quid pro quo... i.e. via negotiations.

Don't trust me. Read the MOU yourself.
