Yeah, I think the pilots will be miserable. We will have another half decade of pilot web board whining. Will that matter? Will it change anything? Those are my questions.
From the APA board the pilots seem to think they can bring Parker to heel. I've never seen a pilot group do that and I saw a very aggressive action when a small group of east pilots tried to.
There is a cost to unhappy employees. I'm just not sure Parker can see it, because it's hard to quantify. Things like poor complaint stats can be reasoned away.
One problem we've always had is that some guys go out and do something really stupid and get fired. That tends to get everyone in line. Guys, don't be stupid this time. Don't go on C&R and brag about what you're going to do.
