I find the reaction to 66 funny. I told him he needs a PR person, as his message gets lost in his delivery. I hate to break it to you guys, but as long as I've known him he has been right more than wrong.
Here's the bottom line:
We agreed to this(collectively-US through our vote and AA through their board). What we have and what the company HAS to do is pretty clear. Hoping that Parker gets a concise is a bad plan.
Good luck to us all. I'm okay with the APA's offer and counter. We'll see that the company says next week.
I am also okay- as in, after rereading the MOU okay- with the offer without company revisions.
I think that after a while outsiders thought the US pilots were just battered spouses (Why do they take it?) and some how Parker would not treat the new group the same way. I am not blaming anyone. It was a bad environment for airline labor. But you could not have found an angrier bunch than the US pilots and it was fine for Parker. He got everything he ever wanted. He walked right over those angry pilots to APA and made his deal. I hope that I will be surprised with his response. I have really enjoyed this relatively peaceful past year. I dread the rancor and discontent that Parker thrives on. Gearing up for next year so I will make it to 65.

You mean conscience- and yes that would be as much a mistake as thinking he cares how happy we are.
