I don't see why that was your big ticket item anyway......it was a smokescreen designed to be plucked all along.
eaglefly,
I generally agree with most of what you are saying. All good stuff and I"m trying to think of the other side of the coin if we do go into arb.
As much as I would like to believe what you say about RJ's being staffed we are always just one FAA rule change away from the landscape being dramatically changed. I have no issue with scope..lets just keep it inline with our other legacy competitors. I do agree I feel it was a Red Herring and it did a great job of keeping the pilot group focused on it while we get slighted with all the other bad parts of the offer. Were you in favor of giving them the 81 seat limit? I can't remember if you mentioned this previously.
Overall it does seem like the company is still actively negotiating and trying to do their road show to get a gauge on what we will and will not take as a group. I'm glad to see that we are somewhat effective as they both mentioned in the DFW crew news that they received emails and also heard us on the scope issue. Unity is is our biggest leverage during all of this.
Hopefully our NC takes the time to be persistent and get us what we all deserve.
