The A321 still should be a Group III airplane. The payscale still doesn't adequately compensate for the lack of profit sharing. Another 5% might. And the Group I rates are still terrible, leaving the door open for a giant Embraer 190 order to replace a bunch of 319s.
I do agree that the company apparenty isn't asking for that much. But staying below industry standard for five years probably won't cut it. Maybe we'll find out.
