That's why I've been bringing up the fact that January 1, 2016 will likely not be our savior. Unless Delta gets a ginormous contract increase on that day, we WILL get less than the current offer. I see too many people running around saying "let's just go to arbitration, because we'll get a huge pay day come 2016". No, we won't.
That pay raise is pretty easy to figure. I guess DL or UA could get a raise and a bump it a little, but I think it's pretty close to what was in the MOU sales literature.
What scares me is when I read on C&R "Let's just go to arbitration and we will get credit for Delta's profit sharing!" We won't.
I'm okay with going to arbitration is we have to, but so many guys don't understand what the really means.
