Just speculation on my part but first of all, I don't think all of the retreads will retire when the contract settles. Many live in SDF and have nothing better to do with their time. They will be getting paid a lot of money to do little work.

Secondly, I doubt UPS is that short sighted. I'm just guessing, but it's likely the new contract will have some kind of fence or incentive language to prevent or preclude all of the over-60 guys from leaving at once.
