I was told by more than one to that I should wait for the IPO before I left. I do not think it was a significant number that were waiting for the IPO, but there were a few. Some were older, pre-launch guys who were hoping the IPO payout might make up for losing their retirements from earlier carriers. Some were younger pre-launch guys who were hoping to cash in too, even though the numbers suggest they would be better off going to a legacy if they had the chance. Now that the IPO is done and the guys have cashed their checks, they may pull the trigger. But often that is easier said than done when you have been some place for several years and have good seniority.
