I'm sure you can get on with a regional easily, but once you go airline you'll have a stink on you to lots of corporate operations. I would say do the corporate thing for a while, you'll get to see if you enjoy it and have that experience on your resume. You can probably go to a regional anytime but a job like this will present itself very infrequently.
