People went 5-6 years ago because it was 2008 and the recession had just started! Plenty of guys from Aloha, ATA, Skybus, went to EK. Had nothing to do with wet dreams as it did with brining in a paycheck and pay bills. 5-6 yrs ago, there were furloughs and no legacy was hiring here.
