Always interesting to read these posts. The OP did interview and did take the job at UAL. He was less than 30yrs old. I was shocked how bad he said things got after he upgraded. Had a good chat with him while fishing for mahi about a month before he left.


And they pay at EK is WAY off. I am a 3rd yr FO. 4 flts last month for 72 hrs...just over $12,000 into my bank on payday.
I contribute 5% of my base salary to get the company contribution, and that has passed 55k in 41 months.
