Latest update for hiring...
Based on our most recent forecast of pilot needs, we will need to hire 391 pilots in the January-May, 2015 time frame. To that end, we are conducting interviews five days per week. We have been running two Basic Indoc classes per month for the last several months, and will close out 2014 with classes on December 2 and December 9. In January, we will begin having a B.I. class every week through the end of May 2015.
At the present time, new hires are going to EWR on the B737 and A320, but January will see some going to the 76T and 756 in other bases.
As always, plans are subject to change and we'll update this site with any significant modifications.
Great to hear this. Hi all....long time reader, first time poster. Planning to retire from the AF next summer, so hoping the hiring trend continues. Thanks to all for the great discussions on these forums - I've learned a lot so far!
