What's life like as a 777 SFO F/O junior reserve by way of schedule? How often do you get assigned short calls? How long are the actual trips that get assigned? We've seen a few of the back to back awards for the jr. line holders in some months. How often do reserves end up getting that? Would a crash pad be necessary for the RSA days? Or are the reserve assigned trips typically commutable day of?

Any insight to help make the decision would be greatly appreciated.
