A skybuss a319 holds aprox. 150 seats. Do the math, well below industry standard.
I'm curious too. Lets do the math..........2nd yr F/O at Skywest is $37/hr.
Lets just say you get paid the guarantee....75 hrs @ $37 = $2775/mth. And lets say you get "premium" or "double time" for your last 9 hrs/mth (FAA max in one yr is 1000 hrs, divided by 12 months = 83.33 or 84 hrs/mth) 9 hrs @ $74 = $666/mth.
So far, $2775 x 12 = $33,300/yr
$666 x 12 = $7992/yr
$41,292/yr. I dont think you are making $19,000/yr on per diem. Dam good for a 2nd yr f/o, but I really dont think you're flying 1000 hrs in 12 months and making that much in per Diem. Raising the watch on this one.
