Checking on open positions. Bases are typically assigned bass upon needs, but your application asks what your base preferences are.
If you live in KC or DFW, they won't make you go to BUF if you don't want to. They may offer BUF, but you don't have to accept.
You are called in to interview for a specific spot in a specific base from your preferences.
