Imagine two stacks. One the normal and one the MG. They draw from the top normal and MG. You do a MG and get Moved over. Other MG can be moved on top of you due to their higher qualifications. This could cause a slight stagnation on the MG side. However, most are better off being on the MG side if they need the extra bump.
It has been hypothulated/speculatized that the MG short (less tall) stack is indeed a competitive within itself.
