I agree with Wollac...then again we flew the BACN together. If you are considering the "hassle" of getting the type, may I suggest you drop that option and take a 6-month ground pounder job at either Kandahar or Bagram, then you would really and quickly appreciate such an opportunity to deal with said "hassle"

Oh, and this is from a recently retired 0-5 who did 2 such ground pounder deployments before being fortunate enough to have that "hassle" of getting the Global type and flying the BACN mission. Just saying.... And I'll gladly answer any questions as well, if you are interested in hearing blunt truth.
