I heard they weren't the cheapest. Skyw didn't lose it purely on cost.
Which stinks because Skyw's biggest problem WAS the paycut they gave the rampers. Cause-effect, fewer people were showing for work, more turn over.
Skyw getting kicked out of den was mgmt's fault not having a clear crystal ball a couple of years ago on how to play the issue. But over all the blame is on UAL. The blatant lack of understanding of the realities of DEN is dumbfounding.
UAL owes the traveling public an apology...a full on dominos grade apology.
And like dominos they need to take some of that chedda and actually fix it.
