.....like should I lost my mcdonalds job I had when I was 16? Durning high school and college, I worked over 10 different jobs. Can I just account for my educational years for the background check?
Anything past 10 years that taxes were deducted. Shows accuracy and openness on your part. Don't hide anything from them in the interview. Be more transparent than a Windex cleaned glass door. Let them decide if it is important. They asked for 10 years, so give it to them. Especially on your background check. The last thing that you want is to get through ground school and have something from your past bite you in the back that causes you to either delay your training or cost you your job for not divulging it in the beginning.
Hope that helps
