It may or may not appear somewhere in your training record depending upon how your companies paperwork is designed.

In the long run it won't hurt you, it's not a "check" it's an "observation", and it must only be recorded as "complete" before you are released to line service, it is not "pass/fail" and can be completed prior to completion of IOE, though many companies treat it as the last flight of IOE.
