No, you do not lose it. Opentime is added to your awarded block that bid. You just lose your monthly overblock subtracted via cancellation hours back to your awarded line hours. You also lose your overblock if you have under blocked a few legs as well. Since it's a monthly rolling total. It does suck. But if we are awarded a 90 hour line, pick up 10 hours of open time for a 100 hours total that month. No mater what happens we get paid 100hrs. The old contract we had before 2009, if we had a lot of cancels, that would fall back to 70hrs of line guarantee. I believe that is how Republics current contract works.
