It's closer to happening than you think. The well of qualified applicants is very definitely drying up: they're working to fill classes less than 3 weeks out now, as opposed to 3+ months out a short while ago. Signing bonuses may be coming.
I always said be patient. When classes start drying up and mainline starts hiring full force. A good contract will have to be signed. But hopefully I will be in the right seat of the Mad Dog by then.
