Studies have actually shown that anyone younger than 30 has had it harder than the 40 year old age group. They were raised during an economic boom and told to go to college and they'd make 70 out of the gates. Only by the time they got to college, the economy was in shambles and now nearly a quarter of them are unemployed.
That's true for the vast majority of people younger than 30--except for the ones whose parents had enough money to pay for flight training at AllATPs/ERAU in the middle of the worst economic times since the depression, a.k.a. the average Mesa new-hire at this moment in time
I'm not talking about the average person under 30 in the entire US workforce...I'm referring to the average person under 30 working on 1st year FO pay at Mesa right now.
