But, if upgrade time is really what you are after, psa/TSA are probably the best options. Mesa could announce a bunch of new flying and it will be the place to go. It's a crapshoot, gambling on a bunch of crap companies. Skywest has typically been the golden boy, but my friends over there say things are getting pretty bad there.
I would recommend going to a regional that has a base where you live or could easily commute. Mesa, despite all the bashing and infantile people who post on this board, generally has a good pilot group, and I havent been messed with too much by the company. Minus the pay, I am happy here. So if phx, IAH, dfw, or iad work for you, it's not a bad place to be. I'm still working to get a couple friends over here.
Very well said! Don't listen to the haters (FB, CBreezy, Paid2fly) that come in here to vent and spew their bitter criticism directed at everyone else's regional. It's nothing more than a pathetic attempt to compensate for something lacking elsewhere. You won't find many cheerleaders here but what will you find is a great pilot group. As quoted by another poster on here, "the best regional is the one in the rear view mirror!"
