Good for you on a personal level. I'm sure this money that brings your overall pay back to industry standard helps tremendously for you and your family. But it's not a pay raise, it's a conditional bonus.
Why do you care? Go clean up the mess in your own house before you jump on a pedestal and knock others down. 9E starting pay is higher than your companies and their 5th year FO pay only lags a couple bucks per hour behind. If you think they are working for subpar wages and you aren't then you have some serious blinders on. A new hire joining 9E today will bank over a quarter of a million dollars in < 5 years. How much is a new hire at your company going to bank over that same time period?
