American Airlines Group will grow its regional fleet — operated as American Eagle and US Airways Express — by 28 airplanes as it goes from 566 airplanes at the end of 2014 to 594 at the end of 2015.
That’s a 4.9 percent increase. But the number of seats is expected to grow by 8.6 percent, from 33,201 to 36,040, because the average aircraft size will grow.
The MTA which forced this JCBA at AA sold scope for 7%. The Delta and United Scope clauses were not perfect by any means, but the trend at both airlines was for a significant reduction in both airframes and ASMs. This contract reverses that trend and will undercut any hope pilots had of regaining the edge in the war between contract flying and mainline flying.

Thanks boys. . .

The future pilots of America appreciate your greed.
