Here is the question, though: If someone has 1000 hours SIC in a turboprop while flying part 135, wouldn't you imagine that they would get an interview with any of the regionals anyways? Ameriflight has an opspec requiring a SIC in their equipment, so the FO can log the time as SIC. (This has been covered ad nauseam on JetCareers).
If they're in the program that long, that might be the only interview they'll get, because the real question is if you're truly worth a pilot job, why didn't Amerflight hire you at 1200 hours? Then you could get paid to fly the last 300, and then have your choice of any regional you want or make over 50K a year in a type rated plane.
