Places like Air Whisky can talk about how well they are paid in comparison to others as well as the contract and what not. However living in base and being at a company that will be around for the foreseeable future was worth taking a few less dollars an hour.
Well said! Imagine this.....2nd year you go to $29/hr, which is about $10/hr below the highest paying regionals. An 85 hour line would yield you $850 less in gross income per month, however, you live in base so you're not spending money on a crash pad or hotels, eating at home more than at the airport, not wasting time and energy commuting. Is that $850 really worth all that?
