And you're describing ALL regional airlines in some fashion in which Mesa is a small part of. And yes they are at the bottom because of the bankruptcy contract they currently operate under. My comments were based on the "self-respect" comment by another, in which you replied with the "horrid contract" comment. I would argue that ALL regional contracts are horrid in one shape or another.

I can certainly appreciate the position that you are in which is the exact reason why my family made the decisions we made at the times that we made them.

Not what I said at all. In fact, the newly elected ALPA President stated in his first blast mail that regional wages, etc were a top priority. Given the fact that he was just elected and not currently seeking election, I would take him at his word, for now at least. What all that entails I haven't the slightest. I do know that regionals are struggling to fill classes which ultimately leads to product degradation, and customer dissatisfaction. UAL is already attempting to address this by reducing it's UAL footprint while increasing it's mainline presence. This creates more mainline positions, and paves the way for us to possibly help improve the outlook for regional pilots.
