Not denying what you say is true in regards to the 170 vs. the 175, with the exception of a fresher looking interior, but UAL is no longer taking delivery of the 170. The feedback is from customers in markets that were served only by E145's, CR2's, and CR7's. As these aircraft exit the UAX fleet, save the newer CR7's, those markets are seeing more 170/175 type aircraft. Combine that with the investment that UAL is making in the fleet type and you can see what is driving the feedback.
