I am FURIOUS that the chief pilot AI would NOT give me the option to resign. You fantastic group of pilots at mesa expecting a class of 40 and getting 11 seem to think you can just toss out whoever you want because they fart in the wrong direction. What a top notch airline to work for. Maybe ill go apply to great lakes. At least they would tell me what they expected of me instead of firing me just to screw me over.
Airlines are not in the business of firing people 'just to screw them over.' Putting you in class costs them money, so they just lost out on that investment. I don't know who you are or what you did, but instead of blaming your classmates/ the chief pilot/ et cetera, you may wish to take a hard look at your own behavior and ask yourself what you can do to avoid a future recurrence.

Because you'll have to explain your firing at any aviation job interview you'll ever have, I strongly suggest you come up with a better explanation than what you've posted here. Getting canned from a 121 operation won't end your aviation career, but it will make it much tougher to get another 121 or 135 gig.
Sorry, but that's the simple truth. You'll be competing against plenty of other pilots with spotless records.

And who knows... Given the complaining about Mesa on this forum, Mesa may have just done you a favor...
