If pay is the same or higher for an ejet, not taking into account bases, I would take that over a 200 any day. Not because it's shinier, but way more comfortable, a lot less old and rickety, and probably not covered in Orange MEL stickers nearly as often, and the cockpit hasn't had 15-20 years of not being cleaned and smelling like crap.

In mesa's case, I would take an ejet if I didn't live in Phx or Dallas already, due in large part to base seniority becoming way better on the e175 for anyone getting in right now anyway. All the early ejet hires will be upgrading soon (most are prior 121) and they are still hiring for the remaining 11 airplanes. No brainer if you want to live in Houston.
