You can beg all you want. I bet that if you looked at a monthly printout of a schedule from any of those companies and then looked at the schedule of the pilot of a 'regional' contract carrier you would find that the legacy/major carrier pilot ulimately flies fewer legs.

Not to pick a fight here. My point is that the work is the same.

Of course, I can't speak for all pilots at all companies. Different parts of the country have different needs. My company flies in the Northeast US and most of our schedules have between 4 and 7 legs per day. Most of the printouts I have seen of the pilots I have commuted with from United and Northwest have had between 2-4 legs per day. Of course, they are longer legs.
