Medical extension
I had someone tell me they had gotten a 1st Class medical, but the AME put a restriction that it could not be used for 2nd/3rd class privileges after the 1st privileges went away after 6 months.
I've never heard of this. it doesn't pass the sniff test, and I want to see if any of you have heard of this.
