I definitely don't feel as bad.

8 Hr. overnights are gone. And those are what I hated.

10 is much more reasonable.

I guess it depends on what we are used to. Before FAR117, my previous company would do a 13:58 scheduled duty day, then RR of 8 hrs and hit you with a 12:30 hour DD the next day. Those absolutely laid me out. Especially considering that was only half of a 4 day. After a summer of those, I felt like I was a decade older.

Not saying that 117 is perfect, but it seems to be better than the above scenario.
