Saying Endeavor is formerly Pinnacle is like saying United is formerly PeoplExpress because Continental bought the remains of PE and then years later merged with United, or saying Silver is formerly Gulfstream. Actually, maybe Silver IS Mesaba because many of their ac came from there.

In any industry it is usually safer to buy an ongoing enterprise rather than starting anew.
